Welcome to the Launchpad: How It Works

• Three Concurrent Series: Starting October 1st, 2026, three independent comic series will run concurrently on the site, kicked off by the winner of our inaugural vote ending August 31st.
• The “Now Showing” vs. “Coming Soon” Queues: As ongoing series progress through their 18-issue run, monthly member votes will decide which concepts fill the three “Coming Soon” slots, waiting in the wings to seamlessly replace the “Now Showing” titles when their runs conclude.

Every month, the voting block features five distinct comic concepts competing for production. The monthly cycle determines their fate:

• The Top Two: The two comics with the highest vote counts at the end of the month are safe. They remain on the voting block for the next cycle.
• The Three New Contenders: Each and every month, we introduce three brand-new comic concepts to the block to challenge the reigning top two.
• The Bench: The three lowest vote-getters from the current month do not disappear—they are placed on the Bench.
• Shape the Story From the Ground Up: Your influence goes far beyond just picking a title. For every comic on the block, you also get to cast your vote on its Genre and Concept Art, giving you direct creative input on the look, feel, and tone of the series before it ever hits production.

Can your favorite comic survive the block? To see your favorite concept make it to production, you must keep voting for it month after month until it secures its spot!

Just because a comic is benched doesn't mean its story is over.

• All benched comics remain eligible for member votes.
• If a benched comic rallies its fanbase and reaches a cumulative total of 50 votes, it will be successfully brought back from the bench and placed back into active contention.
